Is the free check really free?

Yes. The check runs in full and shows you what we found. You do not need a card and you do not need an account. If you decide you want the complete report afterwards you can buy it, but nothing asks you for payment before you have seen your results.

Is the full report a subscription?

No. It is a single payment for one report. There is nothing recurring, nothing to cancel, and we do not add you to a mailing list. You see what the report costs before you decide, and you see your free results first.

Will you store my email address?

Your email address is never stored. Your report is deleted automatically after 7 days.

We use your address to run the check and to send you your report, and then we let it go. We do not keep it, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Will checking my email make my information public?

No. Nothing you do here puts anything new on the internet.

We search records and pages that already exist, in the same way anyone else could. We do not post anything, we do not register you anywhere, and we do not contact any of the websites we find. Running the check changes nothing about what other people can see. It only tells you what is already there.

Do I have to buy the report?

No. The free check is yours whether or not you buy anything. It is not a trial, it does not expire, and you can simply read your results and close the page.

Can you remove information for me?

No, and we would be wary of any service that promises it can. Nobody can delete information from a website they do not own.

What we do is show you exactly where your information appears, who holds it, and the steps to ask each one to take it down. For most websites that is a short form or an email, and your report gives you the link and tells you what to do.
