What the service is

We search public records and public web pages for information connected to an email address you give us, and we tell you what we found and what you can do about it.

What the service is not

Being clear about this matters more than anything else on this page.

• We do not remove anything. We cannot delete information from websites we do not own. We tell you where your information is and how to ask each site to take it down.
• We do not search everywhere. We search the sources listed in our privacy page. Information can exist in places none of them cover.
• A clear result is not a guarantee. It means we found nothing today, in the places we looked. It does not mean nothing exists, and it does not mean nothing will appear tomorrow.
• We are not a security service, a credit reference agency, or a legal adviser. We do not monitor anything on an ongoing basis. Your report is a snapshot of one moment.
• We do not access private accounts. Everything we find is already visible to anyone who looks.

The free check

The free check costs nothing and does not require a card or an account. It is not a trial and it does not expire.

Buying a report

The full report is a single payment for one report. There is nothing recurring.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your report is sent to the email address you gave us, and is available for seven days, after which it is deleted automatically.

Cancelling

Your report is produced and delivered as soon as you pay. When you buy, you ask us to deliver it immediately and you accept that once it has been delivered you no longer have the 14 day right to cancel.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If the report is not as described, or is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we will put it right.

Using the service properly

Check your own email address, or one you have permission to check. Do not use this service to investigate another person without their knowledge. We may refuse or stop service where we believe it is being misused.

Our liability

We provide the report with reasonable care and skill. We do not accept liability for decisions you take as a result of reading it, or for information we did not find.

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
